Sunny Mother's Day

Stuffers and Sisters

My creative kids came waddling out of the bedroom looking like this. They had emptied Anna's dresser drawers and stuffed all her clothes in thier pajamas! They discovered they could run and slide on the kitchen floor and not get  hurt with all thier extra padding.

Owen's best lines as of late.. Jon came home about a month ago and Owen greeted him by saying, "Daddy, I have some sad news.. the Titanic sank!" Jon graciously said, "I know that buddy, isn't that sad." Too bad that was 100 years ago.
Today he came to me and said, "Mom I really, really want a diarrhea!" I said, "You want poop?" And I realized what he wanted was a diary like Clara to write in.

The girls can finally fit in the pajamas I bought them before Anna was even born.

Easter, Fashion and Duct Tape

Making ressurection rolls the night before Easter. Dough wrapped around a marshmallow with butter and brown sugar!
Bake 'em, open them up and the marshmallow has disappeared just like Jesus when he rose from the grave.

One of Anna's loves... marshmallows

We have entered the world of legos. Small pieces here, there and everywhere. I have added another element to my Mommy resume as the lego finder and fixer.

Clara was thrilled with the new "hip" shirt she picked out herself. Jon's comment.. "Is that a peacoke pattern on her 70's shirt?"
Duct tape boats that the kids created after watching the Myth Busters episode of "Duct Tape Survival" with Daddy where Jamie and Adam had to make a boat of Duct tape to get off a desserted island. I was so proud of myselt because I came up with the original design for the boat...stretching my Mommy brain.

Breakfast, Ballerinas and Preachers

Owen's breakfast of champions.. peanut butter toast, sausage and ceasar salad! He's the only kid I know that asks for salad and cooked carrots for breakfast.

All dressed up for "Grown Up" night at Awana

This is how we do home improvement projects at our house. Everyone wants to be part of the action while Daddy puts up a new shelf for Clara's books.

Anna's first real haircut at Bella and Max in Country Village. She loved watching Elmo on t.v. and playing with the dollies in the basket.

Look at my pretty braid

Anna's new job around the house.. sorting silverware

Checking out how I look as a pretty ballerina in my tutu

Owen  the streaker underneath that blanket

One day Owen decided he was going to lead chapel. He grabbed an old baby toy to use as a microphone and got up on top of the cushions he stacked up. Then he said, "Here is the wine and the bread. It's real wine. The wine is Jesus' blood and the bread is His heart. Your children can stay in here if they have snot. We have tissues in the chapel." So that just about covers it. Communion and a children's announcement.

Anna Baby

How many papers can I pull out and draw just a little on each one

"Rag on head Mommy!"

What we spend  a lot of time doing.. reading, reading and more reading. Anna likes to say, "Mommy sit down on the floor."

I love to set up all my animals and babies and read to them in my crib. Maybe I'll be a teacher like my Mommy someday!
